Adam Lind has been quite the weapon off the bench for Washington Nationals skipper Dusty Baker.
Locked in a 1-1 tie with the Baltimore Orioles during the eighth inning Tuesday, Baker summoned Lind off the bench to bat for Michael Taylor with two on and one out.
Lind followed by launching a 402-foot, three-run homer into the seats at Camden Yards to give Washington a 4-1 lead. It was the third pinch-hit homer for Lind on the season, which tied the Nationals' all-time record despite him having played only 21 games for the club.
