Opening Day will undoubtedly be bittersweet for Boston Red Sox fans, as it marks the first time in 14 years that the team will kick off its season without David Ortiz on the roster.

Big Papi has a lot of extra time on his hands these days, and has teamed up with John Hancock to figure out how to make the best of it. As part of his new campaign with the company, Ortiz is calling on fans to offer ideas on how he should spend his retirement by posting on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter with the hashtag #RetirementRookie. He'll then choose some to try out.
