Marlins' Jeff Locke: MRI comes back clean
Locke's (shoulder) MRI showed no structural damage, but he won't throw for a week, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
Analysis:
It's a sigh of relief for Locke and the Marlins, especially considering that the southpaw is already dealing with biceps tendinitis. The 29-year-old will receive some much-needed rest before returning to regular pitching activities. Expect Locke to continue competing for a starting spot when he returns.
