The Tampa Bay Rays may not be done dealing.

A week after dealing Logan Forsythe to the Los Angeles Dodgers, Tampa Bay has reportedly "checked in" with the Texas Rangers on Jurickson Profar, according to Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News.

Profar has never been exclusively used by the Rangers, mainly because he was relegated to a utility role as he was blocked at every position in the infield.

The Rays could benefit from the 24-year-old by using him at second base, first base, or left field.

It's unclear what the Rangers would like in return, though they previously tried to acquire him in a straight-up deal for Jake Odorizzi - that never came to fruition.

Profar played in 90 games last season for the Rangers, slashing .239/.321/.338 with five homers, 20 RBIs, and 30 walks.
