Syndergaard reassures everyone he isn't in 'Die Hard'

Noah Syndergaard may be widely known as Marvel superhero Thor, but that hasn't stopped speculation that the New York Mets ace played Karl Vreski, one of the antagonists in the movie "Die Hard."

It's not hard to see why fans came to the assumption as the resemblance between them is certainly noticeable. Syndergaard took to Twitter to put an end to the claims, admitting that if he were the actor playing Vreski - who dies at the end of the film - he wouldn't have suffered such an unfortunate fate.

If there were to ever be a reboot of the popular Die Hard series, maybe Syndergaard could be considered for a role as the lead villain.
