Vikings' Treadwell to wear Cubs-inspired cleats on MNF
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Laquon Treadwell is rooting for at least one Chicago-based team.
Treadwell, who grew up in Chicago, has apparently been keeping an eye on his beloved Cubs as they try to end their 108-year World Series drought. With the Cubs staring down elimination Tuesday night, the 21-year-old rookie has decided to bring his support for the Cubs onto the gridiron by wearing a pair of specially designed, Cubs-inspired cleats when the Vikings play the Chicago Bears on Monday night at Soldier Field - not all that far from the Cubs' home of Wrigley Field.

Earlier in the week, Treadwell told Chad Graff of TwinCities.com that he played both football and baseball during his high school years in the Chicago suburb of Crete.
