Tim Tebow was doing a little bit of everything Thursday night.
The contentious New York Mets minor-league rookie came through for his Scottsdale Scorpions in Arizona Fall League action when he delivered his team's first hit against the Salt River Rafters. He wasn't done there, though, as Tebow - starting in left field - proceeded to show off his wheels by stealing second for the first swipe of his young baseball career.
Though it wasn't caught on video, MLB's Statcast paints a solid picture of Tebow's steal, registering the former quarterback at a top speed of 19.5 mph on the swipe, which took 3.9 seconds.
To cap off a fruitful inning, an exhausted-looking Tebow was later brought home on a three-run homer by New York Yankees prospect Gleyber Torres:

With the single, Tebow is now 4-for-29 in the AFL.
