Write a song about the Chicago Cubs, get an invite to party in the clubhouse when the finally win the pennant.
Pearl Jam lead singer and noted Cubs super-fan Eddie Vedder watched with bated breath Saturday as his beloved team clinched its first pennant since 1945. Minutes later, Vedder was inside the clubhouse with the players, partying it up and getting his own victory beer shower.
At one point during the proceedings, Vedder found himself on someone's shoulders as the party 71 years in the making grew even wilder.

Everyone focuses on the Cubs' regulars but Eddie Vedder had a lot of big hits off the bench for them. pic.twitter.com/9VXtdlztOC

In 2008, Vedder combined his two passions - music and Cubs baseball - to release a song titled "All the Way" in tribute to the team.
