When the Miami Marlins arrived in Washington to play the Nationals on Friday at Nationals Park, they couldn't have envisioned receiving a beautiful gesture from the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Diamondbacks, who played Washington on Thursday, left a message on the weight room's dry-erase board for the Marlins to read upon their arrival.

Arizona called Dee Gordon's emotional home run for pitcher Jose Fernandez, who died in a boating accident Sunday, the most important home run of the year and wished them good luck while sending their prayers.
