Well, this is awkward.
A New York Yankees fan came to Yankee Stadium on Tuesday night with the intention of proposing to his girlfriend.
So at the end of the fourth inning, he dropped down to one knee and with the proposal on the scoreboard, everything was going great. That is, until he opened the ring box and the ring popped out and onto the floor.
As soon as the ring fell, fans and ballpark security began searching for the ring - with the entire incident broadcast on the scoreboard.
No worries, though, as he found the ring and completed the proposal.
