Film actor Kevin Costner honored retiring broadcaster Vin Scully in memorable and sentimental fashion Friday during a pregame ceremony to recognize Scully's legendary career.
Costner stepped to the podium following speeches from Clayton Kershaw and Sandy Koufax and delivered a tear-jerking farewell in front of Scully and his wife Sandra.
The actor, known for starring in baseball classics such as "Bull Durham" and "Field of Dreams," had the play-by-play of his perfect game as pitcher Bill Chapel announced by Scully in the film "For Love of the Game."
