Jason Kipnis isn't a fan of your premature predictions.
Though the Cleveland Indians pulled off a crucial 1-0 win over the Detroit Tigers on Saturday, the team lost starter Carlos Carrasco for the season after he fractured his hand on a hard comebacker in the first inning.
With the club already without Danny Salazar for the year, Cleveland.com's Paul Hoynes predicted the Indians' playoff hopes were already finished without the team's No. 2 and No. 3 starters:

Kipnis, however, wasn't feeling Hoynes' clairvoyant negativity:

In Kipnis' defense, despite losing Carrasco in the first, Cleveland's bullpen shut down the Tigers on their own, using a total of eight pitchers in the game to limit Detroit to only three hits over nine innings.
