Look: Mr. Met pokes fun at Syndergaard on his birthday
Noah Syndergaard celebrated his 24th birthday Monday, and New York Mets mascot Mr. Met decided to be a good pal and tweet a practical joke to the hurler known as "Thor" as a present:
Just picked up Noah's birthday cake! Can't wait to surprise him when he gets to the park today. pic.twitter.com/FW4sjV5jBU

This isn't the first time Syndergaard's name has been fudged, either. Who could forget the following two misspellings:
All-Star name spell fail ☹️ Jord is not pleased. pic.twitter.com/hC3Vge7grg

Now you're just messing with me right? This smells like @MrMet #namefailpartduex ☹️ pic.twitter.com/Ni6LmwW3uq

At least Syndergaard isn't unlucky enough to be labelled with an even harder-to-spell last name, such as Washington Nationals reliever Marc Rzepczynski.
