If Prince Fielder's career is coming to an end, he'll finish with the same number of home runs as his father.
The Texas Rangers slugger, who had his second neck surgery last week, is expected to announce his retirement. He'll hang up his cleats with 319 career home runs, the same amount as Cecil Fielder.

It's a sad and abrupt end to Fielder's career. After the first neck surgery limited him to just 42 games in 2014, he bounced back to win American League Comeback Player of the Year last season.
He batted .305/.378/.463 with 23 home runs and 98 RBIs en route to his sixth All-Star appearance.
In 2016, he has crawled to a .212/.292/.334 slash line with just eight homers in 89 games.
