Want to know what it looks like when a 6-foot-6, 300-pound pitcher trips on the mound and totally eats it? You're in luck.
In the top of the sixth in the Bronx on Thursday, New York Yankees left-hander CC Sabathia - celebrating his 36th birthday - got his spike caught in the ground as he readied to unload a 1-1 pitch to J.J. Hardy, causing the big man to completely topple over as he tried to deliver the ball to the plate.
It was exactly as graceful as you'd expect it to be.
Outside of his bruised pride, however, Sabathia escaped without any injuries.
