Cuban outfielder Yasiel Puig decided to show his patriotism towards the United States of America on Monday during the country's Independence Day.
Puig stepped to the plate wearing star-spangled cleats, which went incredibly well with the Dodgers blue and white.

The cleats provided Puig with some good luck too, as the 25-year-old hammered his seventh home run of the season off Orioles' starter Yovani Gallardo in the game's second inning. He went 2-for-4 with two runs scored on the night in total.
