Machado, Ventura exchange words after lazy fly ball

Manny Machado and Yordano Ventura are two hot-headed youngsters in today's game.

So when they're pitted on the opposite side of the same field, anything can happen.

In the second inning of Tuesday's game between the Baltimore Orioles and Kansas City Royals, Machado flew out to left field, and after he admired his fly, he and Ventura exchanged words as he made his way down to first.

The move would end up prompting a brawl, because in his next at-bat, Ventura plunked Machado and the benches cleared.
