Creepy 1st pitch in Japan pits 'The Ring' vs. 'The Grudge'

You might think you know baseball, but you definitely don't know horror movie baseball.

In the Nippon Professional Baseball this week, the creepy main characters from popular horror flicks "The Grudge" and "The Ring" - known as Sadako and Kayako, respectively - carried out one of the most far-fetched first pitch ceremonies prior to a game between the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters and the Yakult Swallows.

Rest assured, though, that scary movie baddies aren't suddenly coming alive and taking over your favorite sports, the antics were a rehearsed skit to promote the upcoming movie franchise crossover film, "Sadako vs. Kayako."

Sadako was beat on the swing, but that's a pretty good arm for someone without a face.
