Lindor faceplants after tripping over own bat
MLB.com
Francisco Lindor is one of the most dynamic young athletes in baseball, but you wouldn't know it from his fourth inning at-bat against the Texas Rangers on Tuesday.
Lindor, the speedy Cleveland Indians shortstop, faceplanted his way onto the blooper reel when his bat became caught between his legs after ripping an infield grounder to second base.
The blooper is reminiscent of teammate Jose Ramirez being hit in the head by his own helmet last month while sliding into second. The Indians have already been snakebitten by key injuries, and the last thing they need is players getting hurt by their own equipment.
