Tyler Collins isn't going to earn the respect of the Detroit faithful with stunts like this.
After replacing Anthony Gose in center field Monday against the Oakland Athletics, Collins allowed a pop-up to fall after he lost the ball in the lights, and the crowd booed the center fielder for his error.
But rather than try to make it up to them on the next play, he decided to give his own fans the one-finger salute.
Collins' gesture will reportedly be reviewed by Major League Baseball.
