The iconic Argentine was the star attraction at the Nou Camp on Sunday as his Barcelona side took on Athletic Bilbao in La Liga action. He had just claimed his record fifth Ballon d'Or title, after all.

Barcelona fans unveiled this massive banner commemorating their heroic attacker ahead of kickoff.

Messi's Ballon d'Or trophy was also on display as the Argentine shared in his spoils with his loyal supporters.
