Valencia sends Fede Cartabia to Deportivo La Coruna on season-long loan
Valencia has sent winger Fede Cartabia out on loan once more, this time to Deportivo La Coruna, the club announced on its official website.
The Spanish club says Cartabia will stay with the team for preseason training in Germany before departing back for Spain and undergoing a medical at the end of the weekend.
Cartabia, 22, spent last season on loan at Cordoba, where he made 30 appearances, but only managed to score four goals. Having not met the expectations of Valencia manager Nuno Santo, Cartabia has been shipped off once again.
He joined the club's youth ranks as a 13-year-old, moving from Rosario, Argentina to pursue his playing career. Cartabia made 40 appearances and scored three goals during his single season with Valencia in 2013-14.
