La Liga side Espanyol revealed Tuesday that six members of the first team and coaching staff have contracted COVID-19.
"All are found to have mild symptoms and are complying with medical recommendations," Espanyol's statement read, with translation from AS.
The team added that each unnamed individual has since entered a 14-day quarantine.
Espanyol is the second La Liga side to verify positive test results after Valencia confirmed Monday that 35% of their players and backroom staff have been infected.
The Spanish government mandated a nationwide lockdown on Monday, with the latest numbers citing 11,748 confirmed cases and 533 deaths in Europe's second-most affected country behind Italy.
