The celebration following Portugal's historic Euro 2016 victory will be treasured memories for supporters of "A Selecao," and one important moment - documented and evidently hidden away - has finally been released.
The Portuguese national team posted a video of Cristiano Ronaldo giving an emotional post-game victory speech to his team in which he makes it clear that Portugal "deserved" the win, and that this was the one trophy missing in his career.
Ronaldo repeats, a number of times, that the day accounts for his happiest ever. He expresses gratitude to his manager, Fernando Santos, and his teammates, who finally redeemed his 2004 heartbreak.
