Ibrahimovic: EA Sports using my image, name without permission
AC Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimovic slammed EA Sports on Monday, claiming the video game developers are using his image and name without his permission in FIFA 21.
The 39-year-old Swede expressed his displeasure on Twitter, asking international players' union FIFPro if it was involved in the licensing agreement.
"Who gave FIFA EA (Sports) permission to use my name and face? @FIFPro? I'm not aware to be a member of FIFPro and if I am I was put there without any real knowledge through some weird maneuver," Ibrahimovic posted.
"And for sure I never allowed @FIFAcom or FIFpro to make money using me."
Ibrahimovic, who is in an incredibly rich vein of form this season with a Serie A-best 10 goals, seems intent to pursue his claims.
"Somebody is making profit on my name and face without any agreement all these years. Time to investigate," he added in a follow-up tweet.
Gareth Bale, who returned to Tottenham on loan from Real Madrid in September, retweeted Ibrahimovic's post before offering to do some sleuthing of his own.

The annual installment of the popular video game was released on Oct. 9. EA Sports and AC Milan penned a multi-year partnership in August that "enables both brands to deliver innovative, world-class entertainment for their global audiences."
Super-agent Mino Raiola, who represents Ibrahimovic and Bale, appeared to threaten legal action in a Tweet posted on Tuesday.
