Manchester United and Inter Milan are still on a collision course for the Europa League final after both clubs reached the last eight on Wednesday.

United completed the formality of bypassing Austrian side LASK in the round of 16, fashioning a 7-1 aggregate win following a 2-1 triumph at Old Trafford. LASK surprisingly took the lead in the second leg before United fired back with goals from Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial.

Inter and Getafe didn't play their opening leg before the coronavirus pandemic halted the tournament. As a result, the two teams contested in a one-off encounter in Germany, which Inter won 2-0. Tallies from Romelu Lukaku and Christian Eriksen occurred on either side of a tame Jorge Molina penalty that dribbled wide of Inter's goal.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Red Devils face Copenhagen in the quarterfinals, while Inter take on either Bayer Leverkusen or Rangers. Leverkusen won the first leg 3-1 in Glasgow and host the reverse fixture on Thursday.
