Andre Silva will attempt to rediscover his goal-scoring form in the south of Spain.

The Portuguese international is joining Sevilla on loan for the 2018-19 season, with the Andalusian club possessing an option to buy the striker from AC Milan.

According to Rocio Guevara of Marca, the fee to make the move permanent is €35 million.

Following a €38-million move to Milan from Porto in 2017, Silva failed to impress in his first season with the Rossoneri, scoring just two goals in Serie A as he quickly lost a starting place in the Italian club's lineup. He fared better in European competitions with Milan, however, scoring eight goals in 14 Europa League matches last season.

The 22-year-old joins Wissam Ben Yedder and Luis Muriel as Sevilla's options up front, though Silva is capable of playing in a system alongside another center-forward.

Developed in Porto's youth academy, Silva made his senior debut in 2016 and went on to score 24 goals in 58 appearances across all competitions for the Portuguese club.

He earned his first cap for Portugal through a second-half substitute appearance in a 5-0 victory over Gibraltar in September 2016. In 26 international appearances, Silva has scored 12 goals.
