Stoke City will be without goalkeeper Jack Butland for an undisclosed period of time, as the English national team announced the young shot-stopper fractured his ankle during Saturday's friendly with Germany.
Reports suggest Butland, 23, will require three months to recuperate from the injury, a timeline that would rule him out of Euro 2016.

Butland, whose impressive form with Stoke this season all but assured him of a spot in Roy Hodgson's squad for this summer's tournament in France, was felled in the opening half of the contest at the Olympiastadion.
After landing awkwardly while making a routine save, Butland was in visible discomfort moments later when he attempted to send a long ball downfield. Clearly struggling, he remained in the match for a brief minute until Toni Kroos beat him with a low effort from well outside the area.
His movement clearly hampered, the Stoke keeper crumbled to the pitch and required the assistance of a stretcher to be taken off.
While England did not provide a timeline for his recovery - noting only that he has returned home and will not be with the squad for Tuesday's friendly against the Netherlands - the confirmation that his ankle is indeed fractured likely means supporters of both Stoke and the Three Lions have seen the last of him until next season.
