Despite catching the eye in his nine substitute appearances, in which Benrahma has scored two goals, the Algerian international has found himself firmly behind Valere Germain and the explosive Hatem Ben Arfa in the Allianz Riviera pecking order.
A temporary spell at Ligue 1 surprise package Angers - who sits second in the table despite 15 teams scoring more goals - will certainly offer the 20-year-old forward the opportunity for first-team experience. For the club, it also addresses the exit of Abdoul Camara to Derby County.
