Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini remained coy when asked about a potential move for striker Ezequiel Lavezzi on Wednesday.
Mancini is in Qatar with his squad during its Serie A winter break, and somewhat conveniently faced Lavezzi's current club, Paris Saint-Germain, in Doha.
"It's still early. We will see," Mancini said of a Lavezzi deal to La Gazzetta dello Sport, according to ESPN FC, following the 1-0 friendly loss, before joking: "Anyway, I saw him get on the PSG bus!"
Lavezzi has already voiced his intention to leave the French champion at the end of the season, and is open to a return to Italy. Inter, with its title aspirations and decorated boss in Mancini, would seem an ideal destination for the 48-time Argentina international.
