Report: 3 Marseille fans jailed for PSG violence
Sunday was not a banner day for Marseille and its supporters.
Violence outside the Stade Velodrome after the 5-1 Le Classique drubbing at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain witnessed seven arrests for disorder, with several fans throwing projectiles at police, four of whom were slightly injured in the melee.
Of the seven, three have reportedly been handed prison sentences, ranging from two to four months, according to a report from French outlet RMC Sport.

RMC Sport adds that the three found responsible have all been banned from the stadium for one year, and must report to the local police precinct thirty minutes prior to each Marseille home match.
France's most heated derby between the country's two most populous cities, Le Classique is no stranger to violence. Ahead of the fixture, PSG supporters were barred from attending the match and advised not to travel south.
Sunday's result - PSG's fifth win on the bounce at the Stade Velodrome - was the most lopsided in the history of the derby and Marseille's worst home defeat since a 4-0 loss to Nimes in 1953.
