The surprises during World Cup holder France's shock elimination to Switzerland on Monday began with a towering header from Haris Seferovic.
The Swiss' eventual triumph on penalties (after a 3-3 draw over 120 minutes) concluded a breathless day of Euro 2020 play. Spain beat Croatia 5-3 after extra time in the earlier last-16 tie.
