Perez finished 14th in the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix F1 race at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Sunday.
Analysis:
The Cadillac F1 veteran would utilize a two-stop pit strategy after qualifying 19th on the starting grid. Perez would use the long stints to gather data and help the team to improve the car over longer runs. He would only run as high as 17th most of the afternoon, stuck behind Esteban Ocon. With some late-race retirements and a stroke of luck, Perez would move up to 14th-place by the checkered flag and continue to help Cadillac gather data and improve their program.
