The owners of Estadio Azteca in Mexico City have promised to take legal action after vendors at the stadium were caught watering down beers.

A video shared on Twitter appears to show vendors adding melted ice from the storage area to a beer cup during Club America's 1-0 victory over Morelia on Saturday.

"Estadio Azteca doesn't accept practices that affect fans," read a stadium statement, according to ESPN's Tom Marshall. "A video is circling that shows vendors altering the product. Those implicated have been removed from the premises. We are starting legal action. We won't allow that behavior."

This isn't the first beer-related incident to occur during the 2019 Apertura season. Vendors at a Santos Laguna game in July were seen on video appearing to pour leftover beer into a bucket and re-serving it to customers.

Service provider Eurest Proper Meals fired those involved after conducting an investigation into the matter.
