Chivas de Guadalajara advanced to the CONCACAF Champions League semi-finals by defeating the Seattle Sounders 3-0 on Wednesday at Estadio Akron.
Seattle won the first leg 1-0, but Chivas advanced 3-1 on aggregate.
After a scoreless first half, Oswaldo Alanis put Chivas on the board with a picturesque free-kick, depositing the ball into the bottom left corner past a helpless Stefan Frei in the 50th minute.
Javier Lopez added to the lead in the 55th minute, breezing past Seattle's defense for an easy header, providing Chivas with the lead on aggregate.
From there, the rout was on, with Chivas forward Jose Godinez back-heeling another ball past Frei, who appeared to be exasperated.
Chivas will face the New York Red Bulls in the semi-finals.
