Barcelona CEO Oscar Grau admits rising revenues may open the door for January signings amid links with wantaway Manchester United star Paul Pogba.

The Catalan giants have reportedly contemplated moves for Pogba, Paris Saint-Germain's Adrien Rabiot, and Ajax wunderkind Frenkie de Jong. While Grau admits that the budget does not focus on January additions, the Barcelona exec also didn't rule out midfield upgrades.

"The budget doesn't contemplate any signings midseason, but it does include contract renewals which we hope to finalise," Grau said during Tuesday's press conference, according to Agence France Presse.

"But even though [potential signings are not included], there are many ways of doing things. If the coaching staff ask for someone, we will look at it. We're not closing any doors."

Barcelona have announced expected revenues of €960 million that include €11-million in post-tax profits, with club president Josep Maria Bartomeu targeting revenues of €1 billion by 2020. Reports suggest that Barcelona is keen to sign Pogba with an eye on further increasing revenues with the Frenchman's addition. Pair that with the summer exits of fellow midfielders Andres Iniesta, Paulinho, and others, and the club's wages have dropped from €520 million to €492 million, opening the door for potential January signings.

Pogba, who returned to United in 2016, has been linked with an exit following an alleged dust-up with Jose Mourinho and reports that the World Cup winner sought a move to Barcelona in the summer.
