Leicester City has sent Ritchie De Laet on loan to promotion-chasing Middlesbrough until the end of the season.
The full-back has been a fine servant to the Foxes since his 2012 signing from Manchester United. But after falling behind Danny Simpson in the pecking order, he has been allowed to join Jordan Rhodes in Boro's deadline day buys.
