Manchester City recalls George Evans from Walsall loan spell

Manchester City's promising youngster George Evans has been recalled from his loan at Walsall with immediate effect.
Evans' parent club is without Fernandinho for a second consecutive game on Saturday, and with Samir Nasri a long-term absentee, manager Manuel Pellegrini has cut the 21-year-old's spell with the Saddlers short in order to bolster his ranks.
Either that, or there's a permanent deal for Evans away from the Etihad Stadium.

The local lad became the first player to represent City at every level from the Under-8s to the senior squad earlier this season, and drew attention during a postseason tour last May when he scored this effort against Toronto FC:
His 16 appearances and four goals for Walsall have only served to enhance his reputation, and his unorthodox selection in Sean O'Driscoll's defence in last Tuesday's 1-1 draw at Coventry City is his last appearance for the League One club.
