VIDEO: John Terry savagely calls out Robbie Savage
Chelsea captain John Terry isn't one to mince words.
So when Terry was asked about criticism he receives from former players now working at various media outlets, he had no qualms calling out Welsh pundit and English Championship mainstay Robbie Savage.
"I've come under criticism, individually, from certain players who I've looked up to and played alongside. I take it on the chin, 100 percent; the likes of Rio (Ferdinand), (Jamie) Carragher, (Gary) Neville - we're talking about the very best that I've seen and come across in the game. I sit there and listen and take everything in and try to improve that. I don't look at that in a negative way.
"When certain other people speak, maybe not. Maybe I don't listen. Maybe I don't take it on the chin when players, who have not had a career and have played at a really bad level throughout their career come for people (like me) who have achieved what I've achieved in the game ... Robbie Savage being one."
Ouch.
