PHOTO: FIFA 15 manager applies for Liverpool job and the club responds
When a young football "manager" named Adam Kneale took struggling English outfit Portsmouth into the top flight, he surely must have thought a move to one of the Premier League's big teams was in the bag.
Kneale was presented with a chance to make a switch after Liverpool dismissed Brendan Rodgers from the manager's role. Kneale wrote a letter applying for the position, citing his adventures with Portsmouth in his resume - the only other factor being, of course, that his successes all came in a video game, FIFA 15.
The club duly responded:
Liverpool has since hired a manager in Jurgen Klopp, so Kneale will need to wait another few years before he has a chance at applying again. By that point, though, his Portsmouth team might just be a Champions League-winning side, so Liverpool might need to pull out the big guns to sign him up.
