Report: Tottenham will begin striker hunt again in January
After its well-documented late pursuit of West Brom striker Saido Berahino in the summer, Tottenham will reportedly re-enter the market in a bid to strengthen its forward line during the January transfer window.
A renewed offer for the Baggies' young England man is inevitable, although there are contingency plans in place if attempts to land him once again prove unsuccessful, according to Matt Law from the Telegraph.
Among those linked to the club is Laurent Depoitre, who has just earned his first call-up to the Belgium national squad for upcoming matches against Andorra and Israel.

The 26-year-old's strength and aerial presence has led those in his homeland to compare him to compatriot Christian Benteke of Liverpool. He has plundered six goals in the Belgian Pro League this term, helping Gent race unbeaten into second place, and has operated well as a target man during Champions League games against Lyon and Zenit St. Petersburg.
Mauricio Pochettino's side has a strong Belgian contingent, and although Gent would be reluctant to sell, it's thought a £7-million bid would be enough to prize Depoitre from the Ghelamco Arena
Fred Horpoel, a former goalkeeper for De Buffalo's, confirmed the interest of the north London outfit: "Depoitre, I think he will soon leave Gent. I do not know if it will be for January, but in any case I think he will go to England at Tottenham. He has no offer, but I know that Tottenham are closely following him."
