Gary Neville makes bet with Piers Morgan for a good cause
Former Manchester United defender and now pundit Gary Neville and mercurial Arsenal supporter Piers Morgan have made a wager following the north London side's comprehensive 3-0 victory over the Red Devils Sunday at the Emirates.
To the credit of the two, at least their bet will go to a good cause. Neville's offer of £5,000 will go towards the Manchester Children's Hospital should United finish above Arsenal in the table. Should the Gunners finish above Louis van Gaal's outfit, Morgan will donate the same amount to the famous Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital in London.
The Bloomsbury-area hospital is acclaimed as the recipient of playwright J.M. Barrie's copyright to the "Peter Pan" books, for its star-studded list of fundraisers like Charles Dickens, and having Diana, Princess of Wales as its former president.
