Napoli say Gonzalo Higuain will not be sold for less than €95 million

Anybody interested in prying striker Gonzalo Higuain away from Napoli will need to drive an armoured truck full of cash over to the Italian club's headquarters. And send a second one for good measure.

The Argentine has been linked with a big-money move to the Premier League this summer. In a statement aired by Radio Kiss Kiss, Napoli claim Higuain has a monstrous release clause just shy of €95 million, adding that he won't leave for anything less.

"With reference to the stories being spread by some of the media about the possible departure of Higuain for a fee in the region of €50m, SSC Napoli would like to make it clear that the Argentinian attacker has a release clause in his contract valued at €94,736,000," the statement said, as translated by ESPN FC.

Higuain, 27, joined Napoli from Real Madrid in 2013, and has found the net 35 times in 69 Serie A matches since his arrival.
