The 2025-26 Premier League campaign is in the books following Sunday's final round of fixtures. Here are the standout statistics and facts that define the season.

-24 - Liverpool's drop-off in quality was pronounced. Compared to their title-winning campaign the prior season, they earned 24 fewer points, scored 23 fewer goals, and conceded 12 more. Mohamed Salah's productivity also took an alarming dip, as he went from 47 Premier League goal involvements to 14, and he's now set to leave the club.

-18 - A combination of injuries and poor form disrupted Yoane Wissa's debut season with Newcastle United. His output slumped from 19 goals in the 2024-25 campaign with Brentford to a solitary strike at Burnley this season.

0 - Arsenal almost eliminated all errors from their game. The Gunners became the first team in history to not concede a penalty or receive a red card in a single Premier League season.

1 - Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk was the only outfield player to not miss a Premier League minute for his club.

4 - Thomas Tuchel omitted four of the top five English scorers in the Premier League from his World Cup squad. Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White (15 goals), Leeds United's Dominic Calvert-Lewin (14), Brighton & Hove Albion's Danny Welbeck (13), and Chelsea's Cole Palmer (10) all missed out. Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins was the top English scorer with 16 goals and made the cut.

4 - Jarrod Bowen has completed four Premier League seasons with 20 or more goal involvements for West Ham United - a feat matched only three other times throughout the Irons' 30 seasons in the Premier League.

4 - Aston Villa sat 18th after opening the Premier League season with three draws and two defeats in five matches. But then something started to click. Unai Emery won his fifth Europa League title (after previously winning three with Sevilla and one with Villarreal) while leading the Villans to a fourth-place finish in England's top tier. Aston Villa are making a habit of overachieving under Emery.

6 - Leeds United didn't record back-to-back wins until their 32nd and 33rd matches of the Premier League season. The crucial six-point haul against Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers effectively eliminated the threat of relegation.

8 - Chelsea were the Premier League's bad boys. The Blues' eight red cards were twice as many as the next-worst teams in this category, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton.

9 - The highlight of Nottingham Forest's upswing under Vitor Pereira was when they racked up nine goals in back-to-back wins over Burnley and Sunderland in April, catapulting them from 33 to 39 points. The 5-0 away win at Sunderland marked the first time the Black Cats conceded four goals in a single half since September 2015.

11 - Fulham have finished 11th in back-to-back Premier League seasons. Marco Silva's contract expires at the end of June, so there could be a coaching switch in the summer that changes the Cottagers' direction, for better or worse.

11 - Casemiro enjoyed the most productive league season of his career in terms of goal involvements, scoring nine times and providing two assists. Manchester United will need to strengthen their midfield in the summer with the Brazilian veteran leaving the club.

13 - Arsenal faced one or fewer shots on target in 13 Premier League matches this season. Manchester City were second with seven.

13 - Bournemouth's Junior Kroupi broke the record for the most goals by a teenager in his debut Premier League season. He surpassed two Robbies: Robbie Keane netted 12 for Coventry City in the 1999-2000 campaign, and Robbie Fowler fired 12 goals for Liverpool in 1993-94.

17 - Pep Guardiola ended his decade-long Manchester City tenure with 17 major trophies - 20, if you count the Community Shield. During that time, City became the first team to win four straight English titles (2021-2024). Notably, Guardiola won 55% of the club's major trophies in its 132-year history.

18 - Bournemouth are on the longest unbeaten run in their 127-year history, going 18 matches without defeat and recording the most draws in a Premier League campaign (18). The Cherries will play in Europe for the first time after qualifying for the Europa League with a sixth-place finish.

19 - Arsenal's David Raya finished the season with 19 clean sheets, which equals the club record set by legendary goalkeeper David Seaman in the 1993-94 and 1998-99 campaigns.

21 - Bruno Fernandes broke the Premier League's single-season record for assists with 21. The 2025-26 Premier League Player of the Season also found the back of the net in the final-day win over Brighton, bringing his total goal involvements to 30 on the campaign.

21.9 - Chuck it in the mixer. David Moyes' Everton led all teams with an impressive 21.9 headers per 90 minutes.

22 - Arsenal suffered a 22-year title drought that few could've predicted after their "Invincibles" season of 2003-04 - their longest stretch without a top-flight title since first winning the English crown in 1931.

22 - Igor Thiago finished second in the Golden Boot race with 22 goals. The Brentford striker obliterated the single-season scoring record by a Brazilian in the Premier League, with the previous mark of 15 jointly held by Matheus Cunha, Roberto Firmino, and Gabriel Martinelli.

25 - Coventry City enjoyed 34 years in England's top flight before their 2001 relegation began a troubled 25-year exile. The Sky Blues dropped to the fourth tier in the 2017-18 season. They also had to host matches at Northampton Town during the 2013-14 campaign and at Birmingham City in 2019-20 and 2020-21 due to a dispute between Coventry's then-owners and the landlords of their stadium. Now, Frank Lampard has led them back into the big time.

27 - Bottom-place Wolverhampton Wanderers were the lowest scoring team in the league with 27 goals. No player scored more than three goals for them.

27 - Erling Haaland finished as the Premier League's top scorer with 27 goals for the third time. Still, he didn't rank in the top three of Manchester City fans' voting for the club's Player of the Season award. Nico O'Reilly took the top prize, with Abdukodir Khusanov and Jeremy Doku rounding out the podium.

38 - Martin Zubimendi became just the second player to feature in all 38 matches and win the title in his debut Premier League season, joining former Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann.

39 - Since Michael Carrick took charge in January, Manchester United picked up more points (39) than any other Premier League team. The coach was afforded plenty of time on the training ground, inheriting a team that wasn't competing in Europe and already eliminated from the FA Cup and League Cup. As a result, United played only 40 matches, their fewest since the 1914-15 season.

41 - Tottenham Hotspur retained their Premier League status on the final day with a 1-0 win over Everton that lifted them to 41 points. That's a three-point improvement from the prior campaign, when they finished 17th but won the Europa League under Ange Postecoglou.

53 - Sunderland are set for their first European adventure in 53 years after they followed last season's promotion via the playoffs with an impressive seventh-place finish, earning a spot in the Europa League. Regis Le Bris was undoubtedly one of the best head coaches of the campaign.

75 - Second-last Burnley conceded a league-high 75 goals in the 2025-26 Premier League season. That's a huge change from the prior campaign, when they tied an EFL record with 30 clean sheets (matching 1954 Port Vale) and set a Football League record by conceding just 16 goals over the entire 46-game Championship campaign.

120 - Everton midfielder James Garner completed the most tackles (120) over the season. He also shared the top spot for most interceptions with Chelsea's Moises Caicedo, each recording 59. Remarkably, Garner became just the third Everton midfielder to start every game of a Premier League season, following Lee Carsley (2006-07) and Alex Iwobi (2022-23).

120 - Across England's top four tiers, each title winner led their league for set-piece goals in the 2025-26 season. Arsenal scored 25 from corners, free-kicks, or throw-ins; Coventry City posted 29; Lincoln City notched 32; and Bromley racked up 34. Overall, that's 120 goals.

1,278 - Sometimes you've just got to hoof it. Crystal Palace produced a league-high 1,278 clearances, with rapid defender Maxence Lacroix smacking away 252 on his own.

1912 - Chelsea endured their worst run of league form since 1912, suffering five straight losses without scoring a goal. Newcastle United, Everton, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Brighton all beat and blanked them before head coach Liam Rosenior's dismissal on April 22.
