Mikel Arteta has freshened up his Arsenal lineup for Saturday's visit from Chelsea.

Emile Smith Rowe, Gabriel Martinelli, and Bukayo Saka will all start in the festive fixture. Spanish defender Pablo Mari is also included in his first Premier League XI since mid-June.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was selected on Arsenal's bench after he missed the recent defeats to Everton and Manchester City.

The club confirmed that Gabriel Magalhaes will miss the game after he was in close contact with somebody who tested positive for COVID-19. David Luiz and Willian are also unwell but have returned negative results for the disease.

Arsenal have taken only five of the past 30 points available and are 15th in the table prior to the Boxing Day showdown with Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Ben Chilwell and Reece James are included from the first whistle for Chelsea following their respective ankle and knee concerns.
