Premier League returnees West Bromwich Albion have secured the permanent services of Grady Diangana from West Ham, the Hammers announced.
West Brom reportedly signed the winger for an £18-million fee, according to BBC Sport.
Diangana, 22, played a vital role in the Baggies' promotion after moving to the Hawthorns on loan, bagging eight goals across 30 league outings for Slaven Bilic's side.
West Ham said they made the decision to sell Grady "reluctantly but - ultimately - (it is) in the best interests of the club."
The team added: "The money received for Grady will be reinvested entirely in the team, in line with the manager's targets."
West Ham midfielder Mark Noble shared his disappointment with the decision on Twitter, saying, "As captain of this football club, I'm gutted, angry, and sad that Grady has left, great kid with a great future!"
Fellow Irons midfielder Jack Wilshere also expressed his anger with the move. Wilshere responded to Diangana's Instagram post about the transfer, saying "Go and do your thing in a club that respects you."
Diangana progressed through the Irons' academy after joining the youth setup as a 12-year-old. He went on the make 21 first-team appearances for the club in all competitions during the 2018-19 season.
