Borussia Dortmund are increasingly open to January advances for star winger Jadon Sancho following the England international's latest disciplinary concern.
Sancho didn't start Wednesday's pivotal Champions League clash with Barcelona due to his second late appearance for first-team duties in two months, according to the Independent's Miguel Delaney.
The former Manchester City academy product arrived late for a briefing and training session ahead of the 3-1 defeat at the Camp Nou.
Sancho faced a similar issue following international duty in October and was subsequently suspended for one match by the Bundesliga club.
Despite the continued tension, which was exacerbated by the player's representatives' attempt to force an early exit, Dortmund are still looking for an offer in excess of £100 million.
The club agreed to sell the teenager in the summer window if its price was met, but both sides are now open to a January move, with sources describing the situation to Delaney as a "war in all directions."
Underperforming manager Lucien Favre's standing at Dortmund may also affect a potential sale, as a new boss could influence Sancho's future.
Manchester United's previous advance was rejected by Dortmund, with reports suggesting Sancho was also not enthused about a move to Old Trafford. Liverpool, Real Madrid, and City, who risk losing Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich, have also reportedly been monitoring the player.
Sancho enjoyed a stellar breakthrough last season, as he recorded the most assists by any player in Europe's top-five leagues with 14. He came off the bench against Barcelona and scored Dortmund's lone goal in the 77th minute.
