Burnley may have found their emergency goalkeeping solution.
The Clarets have reportedly set their sights on Manchester City 'keeper Joe Hart, with the 31-year-old set to undergo a medical Friday, according to Simon Stone of the BBC.
Hart will reportedly cost Burnley a fee of £5 million and will sign a two-year deal with the option of a third, according to Paul Joyce and Gary Jacob of The Times.
Sean Dyche's men are in need of a new signing in goal after Nick Pope suffered a dislocated shoulder in their Europa League qualification tie against Aberdeen, potentially sidelining him until the new year, while Tom Heaton is still dealing with a calf issue. The injuries to both shot-stoppers have left Anders Lindegaard and Adam Legzdins as the club's only available goalkeeping options, and neither appeared in a game last season.
Hart's been searching for more first-team football after being firmly entrenched behind Ederson and Claudio Bravo in Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola's pecking order. The English 'keeper spent the last two seasons on loan at Torino and West Ham.
