Watch: Ibrahimovic elbows Mings in retaliation for head stamp

Things got ugly just before the break at Old Trafford when a vengeful Zlatan Ibrahimovic escaped being sent off after delivering a nasty elbow to the head of Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings.
Earlier, Ibrahimovic was the victim of a vicious stamp to the head when Mings leaped through the air and caught the Manchester United forward above his ear in an incident worthy of a straight red.
Match official Kevin Friend, however, missed it all and, instead, brandished a second yellow card for Andrew Surman shortly after Ibrahimovic elbowed Mings.
Both Ibrahimovic and Mings can probably expect to hear from the FA in the coming days.
