Chelsea winger Willian is set to miss his side's weekend encounter with Premier League champion Leicester City after being granted compassionate leave to grieve the death of his mother.
"All of us at Chelsea Football Club are sending our love and deepest condolences to Willian and his family after the passing of his mother," Chelsea wrote on its official website. "We are thinking of you Willian."
Willian recently took to Instagram, posting a photo captioned with a poem - translated by Reddit user "DarkNightSeven" - dedicated to his mother.
